What is Vinson?

It's an autonomous flight system that you install on a traditional manual drone which turns it into a potent autonomous UAV. It consists of the flight controller, a power system, cameras, and an optional suite of additional sensors and communications hardware.

What can it do?

Vinson can be configured to complete almost any task that you might want an aerial drone to perform. It can be tasked to travel, loiter, follow, scan, and more. Once launched Vinson is completely autonomous and communication with satellites or ground stations is optional.

What makes vinson.ai different?

We understand that not all drone use cases benefit from sky-high budgets. Even when money isn't a concern , it is not always possible to procure specialized hardware in high volumes. Vinson allows you to use consumer-grade hardware that is cheaper, more readily available, and can be just as effective for most tasks.

Vinson will automatically compensate for the flight characteristics of the hardware it is in command of. Permitting large variance in manufacturing tolerances is our founding principal.
